Joseph Pierce..

Wow!
Joseph Pierce makes excellent short films, the animated elements are so powerful..

Watch the trailer for  "The Pub" here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYo9rjd9Ft4

..and "A Family Portrait" here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKzI-xBOIK8

Enjoy!

More inspiration..

Sin City.. This is one of my absolute favourites. I love how the animated elements work with the movie and rises the whole experience, the expression is brilliant!

Inspirations and ideas

The group has now startet looking for inspirations and ideas to share with eachother,
so that we can all have something to demonstrate the types of things we like when we
meet up to brainstorm in the group.

We'd all like some elements of animation or illustration corporated into the clip, and we are using Youtube, Vimeo, Instagram etc. to find inspirations for how to work with it.

Here's an example of something that we like, a story with splitscreen, where the different sides
represents the two different versions of the same thing:

Working with Photoshop

Today, I've been working with Photoshop.
The tasks for the day were basic, very lucky for me - being clumsy and all!

Here's some photos of what I was working on

The project..

We are now divided into groups for our project in Digital Media Foundations.
The group consists of Vicky, Lily, and myself, I am excited to start working with my group!

Here's the guidelines for the project:

Aim
To develop a project, which demonstrates your understanding of
narrative through practical digital media. Use digital media tools to
create
• A screen based stop motion animation, OR
• A screen based interactive story, OR
• A screen based video narrative
• All projects examine: how will your product work with music or sound?

First entry!

After experiencing some problems with my blog, I've decided to take down my entries and repost them. Hopefully this will make it easier to follow the progress of the project!
